6RA7075-6DS22-0 Common faults and repairs
(1) Common fault types
Electrical failure
No excitation voltage: It may be caused by an open circuit in the excitation circuit, component damage, etc.
Fuse burning: There may be a short circuit in the circuit, such as component breakdown, etc., causing excessive current to burn the fuse.
Module explosion: The module may be damaged and explode due to overvoltage, overcurrent, poor heat dissipation and other factors during operation.
Unstable operating speed: This may be related to unoptimized speed loop parameters, too large KV coefficient, unstable power supply voltage, or poor performance of the internal components of the speed regulator.
Burning the thyristor (thyristor): Overcurrent, overvoltage, heat dissipation problems or component quality problems may cause the thyristor to burn.
Functional failure
There is no display on the DC speed control device: it may be that the power supply part is faulty, such as the power board is damaged and cannot provide normal power supply to the display module.
Inconsistent running speed: This may be due to poor signal transmission within the speed regulator, or there may be a problem with the connection between the motor and the speed regulator.
High-speed instability and low-speed instability: This fault may be caused by unreasonable parameter settings of the speed loop, large changes in motor load, or inconsistent performance of the speed regulator itself at different speeds.
Fuse tripping at startup and closing: The current at startup is too large, which may be caused by a motor failure (such as a winding short circuit) or a short circuit fault inside the speed regulator.
Failure to operate: It may be that the output power of the power module is insufficient, the motor is faulty, or there is a problem with the matching between the speed controller and the motor.
Excitation fault: There is a problem with the excitation circuit, such as excitation coil failure, excitation control circuit failure, etc.
Optimization failed: The parameter setting of the speed regulator is unreasonable and cannot meet the optimization conditions. It may be that the motor parameter setting is wrong or the control algorithm requirements inside the speed regulator are not met.
Startup alarm code fault: Different fault codes correspond to different fault causes, such as F006 under-voltage fault, F030 excessive armature current causing pulse blockage and other common alarm codes.
Overspeed: There is a problem in the speed control link, such as an abnormality in the speed given signal, missing speed feedback signal, or an error in the internal speed control program of the governor.
Fault reporting under load: The load is too large and exceeds the bearing capacity of the speed regulator, or the characteristics of the load do not match the speed regulator, or it may be that some components of the speed regulator are not working properly under load.
