擠壓法
在維修電腦主板時，擠壓法也是重要的維修方法之一，但具有較強的針對性，通常情況下用於檢查焊球陣列封裝以及各大芯片是否存在空焊的問題。如果電腦由於故障無法開機，那麼主板維修人員則可以使用擠壓的方法，對南橋進行適當力度的擠壓。以此同時，還要對主板進行通電測試，如果此時電腦不能開機，則說明主板的故障並非由南橋引起；如果連接電源以後，電腦可以開機並且能夠正常工作，則說明南橋存在問題，即南橋空焊，此時只要拆卸電腦，重新焊接主板中的南橋即可完成主板故障的維修工作。總而言之，擠壓法的使用具有較強的針對性，因此，不能將其廣泛應用在電腦主板故障的檢修中，但在必要時，擠壓法依然可以發揮其重要的作用
