升溫與降溫法
升溫與降溫法同樣具有較強的針對性，主要針對由於主板中某一元器件熱穩定性較差而引起的主板故障。如果主板維修人員懷疑造成某個部件溫度升高的原因比較可疑，此時可以使用觸摸法，用手能夠明顯感受到溫度變化時，可以使用降溫法對相關的部件進行強行降溫。對對應的部件進行降溫以後，將電腦打開，如果電腦故障的程度降低甚至消失，則可以判斷主板的故障是由該元器件引起的，而維修人員只要對其進行更換即可。總體來說，升溫與降溫需要主板維修人員有豐富的工作經驗，以此作為排查故障的基礎，並保障維修的質量與效率
