Environmentally harmless, rapidly biodegradable rail and wheel flange lubricant

Description

LOCOLUB ECO is a dark-grey, smooth free-flowing grease, based on a rapidly biodegradable oil and containing an inorganic thickener. It also contains a carefully matched combination of solid lubricants. LOCOLUB ECO is free of halogens and heavy metal compounds.

Fields of application

LOCOLUB ECO is used in railroad vehicles for the wheel flange lubrication as well as for initial lubrication and maintenance of mechanical components, as for instance brake mechanisms, couplers and adjusters.

Furthermore LOCOLUB ECO is applied to machinery and equipment, such as wheel flange lubrication on mobile cranes, mobile platforms etc. and open gears in these kinds of application. Likewise it is used for couplers and pins.
