電器開關(4)光電開關是傳感器大家族中的成員,它把發射端和接收端之間光的強弱變化轉化為電流的變化以達到探測目的。由於光電開關輸出回路和輸入回路是電隔離的(即電緣絕),所以它可以在許多場合得到應用。
採用集成電路技術和SMT表面安裝工藝而制造的新一代光電開關器件,具有延時、展寬、外同步、抗相互幹擾、可靠性高、工作區域穩定和自診斷等智能化功能。這種新穎的光電開關是一種採用脈衝調制的主動式光電探測係統型電子開關,它所使用的冷光源有紅外光、紅色光、綠色光和藍色光等,可非接觸,無損傷地迅速和控制固體、液體、透明體、黑體、柔軟體和煙霧等物質的狀態和動作。接觸式行程開關存在響應速度低、精度差、接觸檢測容易損壞被檢測物及壽命短等缺點,而晶體管接近開關的作用距離短,不能直接檢測非金屬材料。但是,新型光電開關則克服了它們的上述缺點,而且體積小、功能多、壽命長、精度高、響應速度快、檢測距離遠以及抗光、電、磁幹擾能力強。
這種新型的光電開關已被用作物位檢測、液位控制、產品計數、寬度判別、速度檢測、定長剪切、孔洞識別、信號延時、自動門傳感、色標檢出、衝床和剪切機以及防護等諸多領域。此外,利用紅外線的隱蔽性,還可在銀行、倉庫、商店、辦公室以及其它需要的場合作為防盜警戒之用。
