1. 3500/05 System Framework

The 3500 rack is used to install all monitor modules and rack power supplies. It provides backplane communication between 3500 frames and provides the required power supply for each module. ?

The 3500 rack comes in two sizes:

1 full size frame -19 inch EIA frame with 14 available module slots

2 mini frames -12 inch frame with 7 available module slots

The power supply and frame interface module are installed in the two slots on the left.

The remaining 14 frame positions (for mini frames, the remaining 7 positions) can accommodate any module.
