1. The control room and operation room should have the following conditions for use:

Before installation, the civil, installation, electrical, and decoration works of the control room and operation room are all completed, and the indoor decoration meets the design requirements. The air conditioning unit is activated and equipped with a vacuum cleaner;

Only when the ambient temperature, humidity, lighting level, and air purification level meet the operating conditions of the DCS system, can they be unpacked for installation.

2. Requirements for installation personnel:

The installation personnel should maintain cleanliness and wear clean slippers when working in the control room or operation room to prevent dust from entering the DCS system device;

Avoid the impact of electrostatic induction on system components as much as possible. During debugging, do not wear chemical fibers and other fabrics that are prone to static electricity.

Transportation and installation of machines, cabinets, and panels

The machine, cabinet, and panel are required to be transported as a whole to the control room and unpacked before installation.

The DCS system hardware packaging box should be carefully transported, unpacked, and handled to prevent tipping and strong vibration, in order to avoid accidental losses.

When opening the box, personnel from the equipment supply department, as well as personnel from the reception, maintenance, and inspection departments, should be present to jointly inspect the appearance quality, defects in the internal card wiring of the equipment, documents and materials randomly brought by the system, and make records and sign for confirmation.

The DCS system control room usually has an anti-static and moisture-proof floor of about 500mm, so it is necessary to consider the height of the base and ensure its stability and strength.

Grounding and installation of earthing system

The grounding requirements for DCS systems are relatively high, generally divided into:

Intrinsic grounding

System DC working grounding

Protective grounding of AC power supply

Protective grounding, etc

All kinds of earthing system and grounding buses are insulated from each other.

Each earthing system can be connected to its own bus and Earth electrode only after no mixed wires are checked.

The DC working grounding requirements of the system are high. Different systems have different requirements, and the resistance value generally cannot exceed 1 £[, so the Earth electrode is applied.

The grounding requirement for other systems is that the grounding resistance is less than 4 £[.

The protective grounding can be connected to the grounding network of the entire plant system.
