The Bently 3300 XL 8mm Proximity Sensor System includes a 3300 XL 8mm probe, a 3300 XL extension cable, and a 3300 XL Proximitor. The system provides an output voltage conductive surface that is proportional to the probe tip and the observed distance, and can measure static (position) and dynamic (vibration) values. The main applications of this system are vibration and position measurement on fluid film bearing machines, as well as keyphase reference and velocity measurement. The standard 3300 XL 8mm 5m system also fully complies with the American Petroleum Institute (API) 670 standard (4th edition) for mechanical configuration, linear range, accuracy and temperature stability. All 3300 XL 8mm proximity sensor systems provide this level of performance and support fully interchangeable probes, extension cables, and Proximitor sensors without the need for matching or bench calibration of individual components.

3500/05 System Framework

The 3500 rack is used to install all monitor modules and rack power supplies. It provides backplane communication between 3500 frames and provides the required power supply for each module.

The 3500 rack comes in two sizes:

1 full size frame -19 inch EIA frame with 14 available module slots

2 mini frames -12 inch frame with 7 available module slots

The power supply and frame interface module are installed in the two slots on the left.

The remaining 14 frame positions (for mini frames, the remaining 7 positions) can accommodate any module.
