TDC3000係統結構

　　TDC3000作為為典型DCS係統，進一步體現了集散控制理念，主要特點有：

　　2.3 TPS係統

　　從上世紀90年開始，計算機特別是基於MS Windows 操作係統的PC機在工業企業大量使用，大大推動了企業信息管理應用水平。由於生產信息管理需要大量過程數據，這就要求DCS係統能夠走向開放，與工廠信息係統集成，實現管理控制一體化。

　　霍尼韋爾公司TPS(Total Plant Solution) 係統從1995年開始研發，1996年正式宣布推出。

　　其主要目的就是控制係統從以前的不開放逐步走向開放,並實現管控一體化的目的。TPS保持TDC3000係統的基本架構，控制網絡還是使用LCN+UCN雙層網結構，使用HPM過程控制器，緊急停車係統採用FSC。在人際界面及應用平臺上開始使用基於MS Windows NT 操作係統的PC開放平臺。就是用GUS(Global User Station)操作站取代原來的US操作站；用APP(Application Processing Platform)取代原來的AM。這是上第一次正式將微軟公司的Windows操作係統用於DCS係統，從此基於Windows操作係統逐步成為集散控制係統中集中操作和管理的主要平臺。接著在1998年增加一個Uniformance PHD(Plant HistoryDatabase)節點，從而標志著完整的TPS係統歷經3年研制宣告全部完成。
