Power module


The power module of RX3i is simply plugged into the backplane like I/O and can work together with any standard model RX3i CPU. Each power module has an automatic voltage adaptation function, allowing users to choose different input voltages without the need for jumpers. The power module has a current limiting function, and in the event of a short circuit, the power module will automatically turn off to avoid hardware damage. The close combination of RX3i power module and CPU performance can realize stand-alone control, failure safety and fault tolerance. Other performance and safety features include advanced diagnostic mechanisms and built-in intelligent switch fuses.


Discrete I/O module (input)


The input module provides interfaces for PLC and devices such as proximity switches, buttons, switches, and BCD thumbwheels. The output module provides an interface between the PLC and external output devices such as contactors, relays, BCD displays, and indicator lights. GE Fanuc Automation provides a series of modules that can support different voltage ranges and types, maximum allowable current, isolation, and response times to meet the needs of user applications.


Analog I/O module (input)


GE Fanuc provides easy-to-use analog input modules for controlling processes, such as flow, temperature, and pressure.


The 8-channel universal analog input module provides unprecedented flexibility and saves users money. The analog input module enables users to configure voltage, thermocouple, current, RTD, and resistance inputs on the basis of each channel. There are over 30 types of devices that can be configured on a per channel basis. In addition to providing flexible configurations, the universal analog input module provides a wide range of diagnostic mechanisms, such as open circuit, rate of change, high, high/high, low, low/low, under range, and over range
